Is that you, Maristella, with your favourite doll....so very sweet. I must say I am in LOVE with both your gorgeous teacups! The designs are exquisite. Where oh where do you find all these treasures of yours??
Hi,dear Kim!A fun story about the green teacup:for almost ten years I had admired it at an antique shop but it was too expensive for me to buy...At about one or two years ago,I bought it at an auction for 1/10 of that antique shop's price...So happy!
Such pretty teacups, Maristella! I have one footed teacup. The photo is adorable! Thank you for sharing with us and thanks for your visit too. Blessings...Sandi
I've always loved ceramics with special feet. As a potter, carving out a foot on a major piece was not difficult, but often caused stress on the object in the firing. It seems as if the Bavarian china companies were very successful in the 'feet' on their pieces and I love the little furniture style legs on smaller pieces. Wonderful post and showing your elegant pieces. Sandi
Footed tea cups are uniquely beautiful! Although, I had one that was wobbly - so it was pretty to look at, but not too useful! Yours are simply beautiful! and the vintage photos, adorable!
Mais duas chávenas de uma beleza notável, com uma base diferente das que estamos mais habituados a ver! Ambas absolutamente fascinantes! Em cores e padrões! Beijinhos! Ana
