That dessert is a medieval dish, a blanc manger;in portuguese,manjar branco com calda de ameixa(with plum sauce).My Mom usually made it for us when I was a child.
Oh my I do love the look of the first vintage set you have there with the roses on the inside, they are gorgeous. I am not sure what that silver piece is with the handle but that is so sweet looking and very unique. Your treat looks so interesting to and served on the special platter. Wow, the vintage teacups and saucers are gorgeous ! The scuttle for the sugar is a gem Maristela, I love it. I think that dessert looks yummy and it looks like something Coconut pudding type I make too. Hugs, Fabby
